OBITUARY: Funeral services were held Monday, August 21st at the Lutheran
Church in Tipton, Indiana for Mrs. Henrietta Teuscher, nee Lanseadel,
former resident of Franklin county, she being 87 years of age. Mrs.
Teuscher was born in Germany, January 22, 1850 and came to this country
with her parents when she was nine months old. They settled in Newport,
Kentucky. She was married to Christian Teuscher in September, 1869, and
they lived on their farm near Batesville. Later they purchased a farm
near Tipton where the husband died in 1910. Mrs Teuscher moved to
Colorado with three daughters in December 1912 where she lived with her
daughter , Mrs. Arthur Doversberger, until her death. Her remains were
brought to Tipton for burial beside her husband.
